Yesterday did not start well but we had a really good time at the game, as always. One of the funniest moments was late in the game, when we triggered a trap that then started spewing green gas into the air. Morgan's kensai (who is about a seventeen-year-old Japanese girl) and Strahd's illusionist (previously a gnome, now a halfling) failed their saves and man, they had a bad trip. We only wish Spoo could have been there because seeing his dwarf on acid would have been so. damn. funny. As it was, we couldn't stop laughing for about fifteen minutes. I can't wait to see what the writeup says about it (schmallturm does writeups after every session and they're always hilarious).
I went to the pharmacy today and found a bottle of Dial antibacterial body wash but the scent did not appeal to me at all. Then I found a pack of Cetaphil gentle cleansing bars that are also antibacterial, so I bought those. I am really not looking forward to my skin being dry and itchy Tuesday morning, but needs must.
Tomorrow I have a bunch of errands to run. I need yoga pants or pajama pants; I need more tea K-cups although I also want to buy a new tea infuser so I can make looseleaf tea if I want it; I need to make sure there are foods in the house I can eat. My throat is going to be sore for a few days so I want to make sure we have soup and honey and cough drops and things of that nature.
I also want to stop by the company store and buy O365. Google products are irritating the hell out of me lately. My Chrome keeps loading very very slowly or timing out, even after clearing cache and cookies and making sure I was up to date. I tried loading a few pages in Safari and boom, no problem. I am irked. Plus I'm still having GDocs issues where it's losing its connection and so on. So I may switch to O365 and consider going back to Firefox or Safari. I am not thrilled about this because I've customised Chrome the way I like it, plus it syncs between work and home, but if it won't work properly, I don't have many options.
(If you've got suggestions on how to make Chrome work, I'm all ears. I know it's not my connection because everything else works just fine.)
Writing has been eh lately; I got a fair amount done end of last week, but nothing yesterday and so far nothing today. I don't anticipate getting much done before Friday, if then. We'll see, I guess.
