Today I got up and watched the new Doctor Who mini-sode
starring Paul McGann, which was freaking awesome and referenced a story from the 1970s I've actually seen which made it more awesome, and then I went to the licensing office to get my affadavit in lieu of title. It took me about five minutes, cost me twelve bucks, and was remarkably easy. I then went to Fred Meyer to get a new battery for my garage door opener as mine has stopped working and the first trick is to try and replace the battery. If that fails I'm not sure what to do next. (It kind of got lotion smeared on it and I think some leaked into the battery case, and then Morgan rinsed it off, and we don't know what got wet/gooked up where. I didn't see any gunk or apparent water damage inside the case when I took out the old battery, but I don't know.)
Then I went to Panera and had a civilized breakfast of tea and a bagel and cream cheese, then I went and got mildly lost on my way to finding State Farm's office and handing over the affadavit and getting two large checks in return.
Now I am at work, and life is good, and I have a 3pm appointment with my neurologist and will ask him about the accident I can't remember and the concussion and if he wants to do any testing or imaging.
The only down side to this whole morning was that I had a nail appointment at ten I forgot about and couldn't have made anyway due to the needing to get the checks from the insurance company thing, but I've rescheduled for 1pm tomorrow so hopefully my nail tech is not too pissed at me.
So life is good right now, and I have a beautiful new car, and yay.
