fun and not so fun.
Good: Had a lovely hot shower today before heading out (given the state of our water heater these days it's always a crapshoot).
Good: Met Pinky for lunch at PF Chang's (lunch there is actually quite reasonable if you get the lunch menu or the dim sum lunch, for the record) and we did some shopping in Sephora and Macy's after. Among other things, I picked up a sample of a tinted moisturizer I want to try but which is pretty pricey. I also need to find my coupon offering me a free 45-min session with one of their people because I need them to teach me how to do my eyes. I'm a VIB so I think I get one for free, or something. I have to look into it. (If you know how this works, tell me?)
Neutral: Hit Target after the mall to pick up a new bottle of generic Excedrin. I have heard that some Targets are now carrying Pacifica products (they're a higher-end bath and body line you used to be able to get at Sephora but Sephora's phasing it out) so I checked but mine had none. Alas.
Bad: Came home to a growing headache, right around my eyes and forehead. It's making seeing very difficult. I crashed for a few hours before, shirt over my head and all, and now I'm up but I'm feeling queasy from the headache (or possibly the bread and peanut butter I had, I don't know) and I may go lie down again. I can't tell if it's sinus, eyestrain, neither or both, or what this is, but it makes me want to squint my eyes closed.
Ironic: Yesterday's mail included a note from my opthamologist that I'm due for an appointment and please call them.
right then, back into the dark with me.
