More on OTW
bookshop has an AMAZING essay and collection of links and so on here, which basically sums up the current OTW Board Election:
There are 4 seats open for this election, but there's only 1 question--and that's whether or not to vote Naomi N back onto the board.
Basically? If you're for the archive above all else, vote for Naomi, by all means.
If, on the other hand, you think that the OTW has some work to do with regard to making all its users feel included in its framework, if you think that all projects under the OTW umbrella deserve recognition, if you think that there needs to be some change to make things more transparent...you might want to think about who you're voting for and why.
