After a week and a half of silence, I heard back from the $Evil_Empire recruiter today. I made it to the next round and have an interview loop next week!

I will need to reschedule a doctor's appointment with Dr. R on 11/10, but that's not a big deal, since I've got plenty of notice.
Here's hoping the job doesn't mysteriously vanish after I interview for it...
