1) Flight of the Conchords won a Grammy for best comedy album yesterday, for their EP The Distant Future (being listened to now!). Also, their eponymous real album comes out April 22nd.
2) The governor...blogging? Hello 21st century!
3) CSE midterm today. It was only 42 points, and the last half (the non-short answer half) was entirely unlike the practice midterm. I'm hoping for partial credit to carry me through that part.
4) Great new band alert: Airborne Toxic Event. They're a lot like Voxtrot thematically; however, their musical style is significantly more rocking. According to their Facebook group (run by a band member), they have an album on the way whenever they get around to signing with a record label. Free MP3 here.
5) The writers strike is over! Well...almost - there is a deal, but it's only been ratified by the leadership. I expect the actual union will approve it as soon as possible, so they can get back to work. The good news: there will be a second half to Battlestar Galactica Season 4 (currently starting in late March).
6) Hillary Clinton thinks that caucuses "favor activists" and "don't represent the electorate." WTF? I'd like to see her tell that to the cross-section of Washington that showed up on Saturday. Guys, there's a primary on February 19th - everyone be sure to vote, even though it doesn't count for anything. I want to prove Clinton wrong.
