(no subject)
So I went to the DCI IN THE MOVIES thing...I have mixed feelings about this year...let's see...I'll try to recap as much as I can...
Well let's see...the corps of the night...hrmm...I LOVED Blue Devils. I know everyone else and there mom is trashing them and what not, but I loved their show. Maybe it's because I'm a guard person and amplification and talking doesn't bother me in the least...but I dunno...I liked it alot. I loved the guard as always. I also really liked Bluecoats, Crown, Cadets, and Madison. Phantom was just funny to me, I just laughed the whole time. I mean it really wasn't silly...the silly award definitely went to one of the previously mentioned corps...it was just funny. I really liked Seattle Cascades too, I know they were like 17th or something like that, but in my opinion they were really good. Definitely better than the next few corps ahead of them. I liked Crossmen okay, it was awesome to see Lisa having such a great time...and having 9,000,000,000,000,000 solos...or maybe I should say the rest of the guard having solos while Lisa was doing her show. LOL. Cavaliers were okay, there was something about the guard that bothered me and I'm not sure why. Beth made me giggle with her little dancity dance in a construction hat. GO BETH GO! Hrmm...what else? I took a smoke break during Colts, from what I hear I didn't miss anything special. I should have during a couple others too.
