Two Weeks…. 900 Miles….

Its been two weeks since I have lsat had a chance to write.
Life has been rather uneventful.. atleast in Silsbee…
I spent the first week after my surgery i was in bed… Watching TV…. Surfing the Internet…. sleeping…..
After a week of being lazy, I had to return to Baton Rouge for a follow-up visit. Both of my parents came with me, we left last Tuesday @ 8:30, got into BTR @ 11:45a.
I Paid one of my speeding tickets in Port Allen, it was reduced to a non moving violation, $159 for going 87 in a 70. Next we stopped by my apt to get mail, Lunch at Schlotzsky’s, then my Doctors appointment, followed by a drive back to Texas. That was 400 miles in 9Hrs.
The last week i have just been around town, there isn’t much to do in Silsbee. I went to Beaumont once to run an errand. I spent a week and a half with my grandparents, and 3 days with my parents then came home to Baton Rouge for a day.
My day in Baton Rouge was uneventful, i paid a few bills, had dinner with the roomates and slept. Tuesday i had my 2nd follow-up visit, and then i left for Houston.
So here i am in Houston, ok its Spring, but close enough, John is at work, and i am doing lil’ things.

I haven’t been at work since August 27th, I had my week vacation then the 2 weeks off for recovery from my surgery. The time i have been off work for recovery started Sept 4th being off work for a medical reason i am supposed to be paid under my Short-Term Disability however i have been fighting with my claims administrator about getting all the paperwork to them. Since they are in Louisville and not officially part of the company they aren’t very friendly and are quite rude. As of now i have been denied benefits, it seems they are quite inefficient when it comes to processing paperwork

For now i am in Houston with John while i am in recovery, i am studying and also doing lil things i need to do outside of work. I plan on taking a few picture in my free time.
