The Weekend…..

So after a long Friday @ work, I started my weekend trip to Centerville, LA. I decieded to take a lil bit of an extra oedinary jouney. I left straight from work off Sherewood Forest in Baton Rouge south on I-10 toward New Orleans, get off @ LA Hwy 22 south of Gonzales, Take LA 70 across the SunShine Bridge through Donaldsonville, Pierre Part, and Morgan City, the West on US 90 to Centerville. It took me about an hour and fourty five minutes.
I first met John at his sister’s house. He was there with Alton, we sat and chilled. Talked about a few diffirent things. Afterwards we went to John’s dad’s house to drop a few things off, followed by a drive to Morgan City @ Midnight Saturday morning to eat at Waffle House. I am not usually one to eat a lot when I eat breakfast, but I was starving. I ate two eggs, hashbrowns with ham tomatoes and cheese, blueberry toast, and a thick plain waffle. We then retreated to John’s dad’s house and I passed out watching the news around 2a.
Saturday morning I woke around 7:30a with Mr. Clarence (That’s John’s Dad), we sat and talked and drank coffee. Soon John and Alton woke up and we started moving, John had a service call, and then we had to get Alton back to Lafayette. I was to be down not only to see John this weekend, but also to attend a birthday for Scott. Scott is John’s Sister’s other half. We got there a lil late, it was supposed to start @ 3p. John and I arrived @ 5:30p. I had a drink or three, John had the same, everyone else had a lil more lol. It was quite fun, unfortunatly I didn’t have my camera with me because stupid me forgot to charge the batteries.
After the party, we then got things back to John’s sister’s house. Johna nd I stayed for a little while and then we went back to his dad’s house. We had a lil talk about work, and this family, then we went to lie down and i passed out. Sunday was rather uneventful, i woke up @ 11:00a, watched TV, john worked ona few service calls. And then after a rather lengthy see you later managed to leave Centerville to head back to BTR.
I miss him already, he sent me a msg when he got home, and i missed it……. and then he called when he got off work….. :-p what do you do with a guy like that ;-)

Today at work was a typical Monday, except i had a full hour for lunch. One of my co-workers dodged losing her job. Yet another in the sad tale of people being unemployed.
