So its been a few months since i’ve written here… atleast in public… i have a few private entries after some deeps nights sitting here…. somethings i’ve not ready for everyone to see just yet….
Alot has happened to be since March……
We are going to take this a lil @ a time…..
I was taking pictures for Splash, a local night club/bar in Baton Rouge, Much of my work has been praised, and i still see alot of my pictures in circulation on MySpace, Facebook, and elsewhere…. I recently have taken a break, primarily for my body and also to take care of some personal goals.
March and April
During late March and early April I went on a road Trip (Click here for the map). it was a Fun Trip, i got to party in Dallas, take some beautiful pictures in St. Louis and S. Central IL, visit Chicago, Make the longest non stop drive to see someone (15 Hrs and 20 Min from Downtown Chicago, IL to Spring, TX), and then Easter sunday with my mom for her birthday. I also had an interesting Saturday morning in the month May. Those who know me usually know my tales of Silsbee and being gay. Well, the Internet has done wonders for our society. On Facebook.com I have a profile. As with all of my online profiles i am honest and open about my sexual orientation. Many friends i know have both MySpace and Facebook. I was recently online and had a distant family member request to add me as a friend on her Facebook. Now this isn’t a too distant within my family, but enough for me to not talk to them or only speak to them on occasion during the year. This cousin, who will remain nameless, is related to me through my grandfather. She is my grandfather’s sister’s daughter (A third cousin). Now Most of the people i am friends on Facebook i met via LSU and other college networks (primarily because it used to be for colleges only). She happens to go to school back in TX so i was more than happy to add her to my list.
Now how this fits into a saturday morning. On the first weekend of May a friend of mine and I went to New Orleans and had a fun night, we then decided @ 3:30a to drive to Gulfport, MS to go sleep/swim on the beach. In drunken agreement i made the 45 minute drive and we got there around 4:30a. We all passed out on the beach under some docks and with some sleeping bags. About 2 hrs later the sun started to rise and i woke up cause my phone was ringing. It was my dad. For my dad to call me @ 6:30a on a Saturday it had to be something important, so he started talking to me about the phone call he got from my grandfather a few minutes earlier. I told him I’d call him right back and called my grandfather. Talking to him i found out he had gotten a call from my (Great) Aunt E, she had heard from my third cousin that i was gay. In my family thats news so everyone is calling each other to get to the bottom of things. Now i always had an idea my grandparents knew about me; While i was dating Tim I got several e-mail about them not approving of my “lifestyle”, fortunately, they were cool with it. We still love you no matter what is mostly what i heard.
Back to my dad, when i happened to get off the phone with my grandparents after about 30 minutes (Still hung over after only 2 hrs of sleep on the beach with my friend) I got my mom who was more than happy to talk to me, her and my dad and been talking. (I came out to my mom in May of ‘06 when i had gone in the hospital for a staph infection.) She talked to me for a lil while about how she went through a similar phase, and how important it is to carry the family line etc. My dad also told me how important i was to him and etc, proud of what i’d done in life. It was kinda a touching moment in life, but just the timing of when this all took place. Its a lil more fun to tell im person, i’m a good actor.

Most of June i’ve been working 11 hr days….. 7a to 6p Mon to Friday… There are some past debts i’ve been trying to take care of….. its also put me back into a simple routine… Wake up, Work, Come Home, eat Dinner, Play on Computer, Pass out.
There have been alot of changes @ my job, the introduction and then re-introduction of different comp pay. New Procedures for Disconnecting customer accounts, more changes to the products and services we offer and their prices, as well as behinds the scenes changes like vendors for rewards, and rates for telephone calls. Our center leader has also had to come down hard on the sales numbers in our center. many people have been written up for being less than satisfactory for sales performance (including myself), Schedule adherance, & Overtime Not Worked. Many things that used to slide doesn’t get far, the belt is tightening @ my job. There have been several people who have quit. Others who have been terminated. I just wonder what will become of me and my position in the future of AT&T-SE.

Latley If i am not in BTR I am in Texas…. I’ve been spending quite a bit of time seeing John. I dunno what it is about him, he a very special person to me. It been a lil more than 3 yrs i’ve known him. He went from this nice guy i’d met online and took me in off the street (for a short week lol) to my Best Friend; about the only person that i talk to on a regular basis that know me well enough to have seen the entire spectrum of Blue. From future ex husband to husband to be. *sigh* I’d say if it weren’t form him i wouldn’t have made it through most of ‘06…. I don’t think he knows that yet…. My life has changed in the short time I’ve known him, and changed even more so in the shorter time I’ve gotten to know him… <3 for John….
I am off to bed, i am going to make this a lil more common and a lil less quarterrly update… i know most ppl don’t even get this far in my entries… if you do show some love…. play with my new blog, leave a comment… :-p
