run to the mailbox this morning to deposit the first month's payment of rent, which is already a day late, but I don't think I'll get any retribution because it should be postmarked before the 3rd of the month. At least I think that's what my landlord wants.
So now I'm officially moved into my house in Davis, and I've been thrust into life beyond the dorms and still getting used to it. All of a sudden things seem to be moving so fast, and I've got so many things to think about. I'm only living in the house for a few days before I go to Arkansas for the weekend.
At least classes don't start for a few weeks, so technically I'm still on summer break. I've got a bit of time to settle into things.
Not sure if I'm going to be doing a regularly scheduled radio show for the upcoming quarter. I've done so little volunteer hours during the summer (none, in fact) and spring quarters, and I need a lot in order to get a spot on the schedule. I've missed a ton of great bands in Davis and Sacramento too. I'll at least be a substitute DJ a few times in the upcoming weeks. I also should probably get a job sometime.
I should go eat something. My stomach's growling. And "Like A Rolling Stone" springs to my mind.
