101 Goals in 1001 Days - Day 906/1001, 3 months and 5 days or 95 days remaining - My Goal List - Started July 17, 2014 end April 13, 2017

140 days since my last update

Quite a bit has happened in the last few months. Moving from Michigan to Oregon has been a whirlwind. I have made quite a bit of progress with my life and am enjoying the way I am moving it. I’m finding the power of intention to be fantastic. I have taken quite a bit of personal responsibility of myself and my world and I am continually striving to make improvements in my life. Doing my best, every day. I have 95 days left to complete this log and to create an entirely new list. Reading through and updating this list tonight has been helpful. I reflect upon all the progress I have made in 2 years and 10 months. I earned my bachelor’s degree! I moved out of Michigan! I don’t have children with me anymore! I’m finally getting fit! In March 2016 I topped the scales at 264. Today I am 218. I’ve held steady at that number for about 2 weeks now but I know I’m gaining muscle and loosing fat as my size continues to decrease. There are quite a few of the tasks on this list that are no longer applicable. I will be auditing and posting a new and improved second list by April 14th. I feel like a completely different person than who I was when I began this list. I was unhappy and feeling stuck in Michigan and ending an unhealthy and draining relationship. By taking a step back from myself and taking a good look at what I have been doing with my life and where I was going was one of the best things I could have ever done. I have a thoughtful person in my life who has been pointing me towards the way of the warrior and teaching me with baby steps and little suggestions here and there. I feel empowered to succeed. I am working on training my mind as well as my body. Steps towards training my soul will also be on my nest list.

By the grace of the world I have entered into an awesome roommate situation. I’m in a unique partnership position with two interesting men, one here and one still in Michigan. I’ve started work as a temp with Nautilus, Inc. and work in the Bowflex call center. I get to visit with my daughter every 2nd and 4th weekend of the month. I have two dogs who love me. I have registered for my first 5k, the Shamrock Run in Portland on March 19th (ironically my 2nd wedding anniversary) and got an awesome gift of registration for the Spartan Race, an obstacle race and run in August 2017. This is part of what I am doing towards my 101 goal to participate in a triathlon. I received an awesome DPMS AR-15 for Festivus from Michigan Partner as well as a Lock Pick training tool and entry to the Spartan Race from my Oregon friend. I am enjoying how I can live independently and jointly with people and there are no hurt feelings or feelings of jealousy when I want to spend time away from them, not having a serious committed relationship and I'm enjoying getting the beatings I'm asking for. I'm working really hard and realize that often times there is pain in progress. It's a welcome pain. I'm doing it to myself and I realize that only I have the power to change me.
