Birthday gift part 2 from my parents: A bobbing penguin known as "Tea-Boy" who will make the perfect cup of tea. Timer and tea ball included.
The sun made me really happy today. I wanted to frolic all day (thought of you, Lindsay).
I am reading Moby Dick! The Musical as a possible show for MAD Factory this summer. It has potential. I'm a little worried that I might have to read Moby Dick in May as directing research. Why did I buy the cliff notes in high school? Why?!
I need to make a social calendar for the week.
--Tonight Ice Age 2
--Lunch Thursday
--Thursday night Stop Kiss (assuming it is playing Thursday night? Yes?)
--Friday and Saturday night the improv conference and also the OCIC party Friday night
--Saturday dinner
--Sunday Death Defying Acts
As for my birthday, I think I'll just sit around and wait for someone to sweep me off my feet. That or I could just watch old movies with the cat. Either would be fine.
Everyone should come see the OMTA cabaret next week. Becca Riemer and I are the opening number.
