I'm baaaack
Disney was fun though some parts were awful. Trying to eat dinner with 18 people in a tiny pub on their busiest night of the year is chaos and not even funny to watch if you're stuck in the middle. The only non-Italian meal I've ever had that lasted more than 4 hours (and about 1 of those hours was actually spent eating).
Ups of the trip:
-We saw La Nouba, the Cirque de Soliel show they have down there and it was amazing. Not only were the acts extreme but they had multiple things going on. So like as the highwire people are running about above the stage, there's a dance/gymnastics number going on beneath them.
-Saw Ryan for only an hour (in a surprisingly not awkward conversation despite the fact that we were sitting in the middle of a group of adults from Fay). Apparently he was down there for some lacrosse clinic and was quarantined away from "The Group" for about 3 days
-Found out that Epcot doesn't give a damn about IDs or age when buying liquor or keeping someone who looks like they're over 10. My mom would buy a glass of beer, wine or champagne and if she didn't like the taste or didn't want to finish would just hand it to me and walk away like she handed me a bottle of water. (Also finally tasted Guinness from a pub...and it does taste better, much smoother).
- I actually got to spend some time alone in the parks which is always fun.
Downs:
- I WAS stuck with 7 kids from ages 12-7 for a lot of the week and their backstabbing, gossipy parents.
- I had to help the kids order and sit at their table for the first 2 dinners. Then I blew a fuse and nearly threw one through a glass door so I got to do what I pleased after that. And better yet everyone forgave me when I told them what he said.
- Can't go on Mission: Space (High Throttle Side) anymore because of the increasing severity of my condition. Nearly had a heart attack after our flight home so I'm being closely monitored. Sucks because I loved that ride.
- IT SNOWED LIKE 7 INCHES WHILE WE WERE AWAY! We had to dig out the driveway before we could drive up and get our luggage out.
