the men here disgust me
ugh, today Laura and I had our worse harrassment experience! ok so living here women and girls just have to get used to being whistled at, looked up-and-down, having to listen to dirty comments and stuff. well today La and are walking across Parque Kennedy and these two guys come up from the side and start walking behind us and when they hear us speak English one of them says, "hello." well we ignored him, but he KEPT bugging us. these guys were right behind us and they followed us across the whole park saying like "hey. c'mon. hello. hey." it was so frustrating! then we like ran across teh street to get away from them and they stood at the opposite side and leered at us. so gross. I'm going to leave here with so many stories - being treated as a prostitute by a cab driver, being stalked by a man in a speedo (that was pretty funny), the leafy man at Larco who followed us around.
on the brighter side, i bought five more shirts today. four super cute ones from AE (for $3 each! I still can't get over that...one still has the price tag on it. $15.50. yea man.) and i got another one from Hollister. except i was too lazy to try that one on. well it looked like it would fit me - it was a small, im a small girl. i dont have boobs, i have a small waist, and my shoulders arent very broad. but when we got home La tried it on and then I tried it on and it's SO tight. especially in the arms. we were laughing so hard over it. guess I should've tried it on! oh well i'll figure something out to wear it.
tomorrow night i'm babysitting the nephew of (this is his official title) "hott-Canadian-guy-who-isn't-really-that-hott-but-now-is-semi-hott-becuz-he-has-a-lip-ring" aka Gavin. lol. his nephew is SO cute.
