fiiiiinally
omg, finally an update that is more than cryptic pictues and an explanation at the bottom... lol.
anyways, that's what i'll update about first. i got a laptop! i went to dallas with my brother last week to see my three cousins, aunt, and uncle. well my brother and i loaded up and left at about 12:00, but had to get gas and got some food, so we were on I35 at like 12:30. there was a hazardous cargo spill along the way, like five minutes from Buda. At first i thought it was just Austin traffic, but thank goodness it wasn't (or else I would've been there much much longer than I already was). We went a whopping two miles in thirty minutes... sheesh! there were people crossing the median, but my little car would't have been able to handle it. so instead we waited until an exit and then got off and cruised the access road. well that would've been fine if the first response teams weren't sending the people off the median about half a mile up anyway, lol. it wasn't too bad, sort of interesting. police/ambulances/firetrucks and such. there were two cars that had been pretty smashed in, and a truck that had apparently flipped (and was carrying whatever was so hazardous... it was like a little ford or something). at first justin and i didn't know it was a cargo spill, we figured it was just a wreck due to the badly shaped cars, but then later on an austin radio station we heard that it was a spill. well now i can say that i've survived a hazardous cargo spill ;).
when we got to dallas we sat around and waited for people to get home (it was just meredith (she's 11 but turned 12 while we were there) and jonathan (he's 4, and a handful)). then when sharon and taylor (she's 13) got home we talked and such, then danny came home and we ate chicken tacos and chips and such. after dinner everyone insisted i open my present at that very moment, and it was a laptop!! it's a dell inspiron e1705, and i love it a lot. it has a 17" screen and pretty cool specs (1 GB of ram, 60 GBs harddrive, dual core processor, 6 usb ports (lol), a slot for an SD memory card from a camera, and a cd burner/dvd player (and i swear it has better picture quality than my tv!)). It was very exciting! i've completely changed my mind about not wanting a laptop, lol. danny made sure to get everything i needed, and it's fun to play with... lol. also, i have SOUND! i haven't had sound in a while, my sound card blew up on my other computer, and then the speakers didn't work on the computer that i borrowed from our neighbor. if i had a camera i'd take a picture, but alas... i don't. i will get one before i leave for sure though.
anyways, so that was the first day in dallas. the rest of the days we played super monkey ball, watched all three movies in the back to the future series, swam some, hung out, went to see RV and the break up, played board games, swent out to eat for meredith's birthday, and talked/caught up. justin and i left early thursday morning and made it home missing austin traffic again, w00t i'm good. it was fun, but hard at the same time because i missed my amazing boyfriendddddd. when i got home i had time to chill until friday night when i went to my dad's house. on thursday kyle and i went to get my car washed and then went to payless, then friday i went over and hung out and showed him my laptop. i left to go to my dad's at like 6, and picked up my brother (who had stayed the night at a friend's house thursday) on the way. i dropped him off then went to barnes and noble. when i got back there was dinner and then rest! saturday morning i woke up and went to get my claws taken off, i've had them since prom! after that i had to go to abercrombie for a shop, and then went back to my dad's and hung out/got on the computer. john came over, and later we had a games night thing and swam at my grandma's. then i had a baskin robbins shop and after that i went to target to get a present for my dad. it was a shirt that said "this is what cool looks like". i decided it fit him pretty well and came home and relaxed. we opened presents a little bit later and then i finally slept after talking on the computer and whatnot. i went to bed fairly early because we had to get up early the next morning to go to their church. we went for father's day, then went to le peep, a restaurant by the quarry. after eating and such (yum!) justin and i went home and i went to six flags with kyle! this is our second time (refer to his post if you wanna read what we did the first time, lol). even though i wore a tank top that covered more, tons of sunscreen, and a big floppy protective hat... i still got burned. no me gusta! but it's not as bad as last time, thank goodness. if it were i'd have skin cancer for sure. there's no pain this time and it's just sort of a dull reddish pink, meaning it'll go away soon! we rode almost every ride (boomerang had shut down when we got there, roadrunner was stuck but got fixed when we were walking away, neither of us wanted to ride rattler, i didn't wanna do power surge) and also hung out in the overly packed waterpark (hooray for days you can bring people for free... unless you can't bring anyone because no one can go...) so we just lazy river'd and wave pool'd. neither of us felt like waiting in the hugggeeee lines. but it was super fun. afterwards we went to sonic and we both got a fritos chili cheese wrap! but stupid sonic is all "onions opon request" and gave us both onions anyway (i forgot to request, kyle wouldn't request everrrr). so we fished all the onions out of kyle's wrap and then ate, and i took him home. when i got home i was tired, and so was kyle, so we sat at the computer and did a lot of nothing, lol. it was already like 8:30. i ended up going to sleep at like 11:15, and slept til 10!!
so here i am, sitting around on june 18th... lol. summer is already over twenty days into play, and nothing too exciting has happened. hopefully i'll have another exciting update soong (ok so this update was exciting, but not overly exciting!)
now off to watch degrassi stuff on the website!! woooooooo!
