I can breathe! (sniffle)
Well I'm finally getting over this flu thing, which knocked me on my ass from the 29th of December until now. I was bummed that I couldn't go party at the Lodge, especialy since I missed Winter Solstice as well. It also made me feel like an ass because I was supposed to be helping decorate and clean up, instead I was laying in bed experiencing my entire body aching. Most of the aches are gone now, and just some sniffling and stuffyness are left.
I haven't been that ill for quite some time. I had forgotten how unpleasant it is. The not wanting to move thing gets quite old after you've been in bed for a day. I did a lot of sleeping, which of course brought about the crazy/disturbing/confusing/frustrating fever dreams. Even when I was awake I still felt in a dream haze, not quite able to think much outside of what was happening right then (not much).
Maybe I'll stop sounding stuffed up by tomorrow so I can record the last of the voice over for this Japan Video short. I'm looking forward to doing mass on the 14th since I missed getting to Deacon on my birthday due to snow. It will be good to see my Thelemite family again. I think I'm getting OD'd on my real family...
