[His left eye begins to ache again. Or rather, what's left of it around the glass eye implanted into the socket. It's normal, he's used to it-- it happens a lot, still, especially since he's just managed to pay for actually having something within it instead of walking around brandishing an empty right eye socket.
In the realms of the dead, everything is more expensive than the things in the lands of the living. Everything is more of a luxury.
He raises his hand to shield his functional eye, just in case the area he'd stepped into has light. Not that he's expecting some light, having been in the dark realms for a while... but some of the darkness were slightly lighter than other areas.]
