Audrey Tautou is sooo beautiful <3
I've recently fell in love with French film actress Audrey Tautou. Today I've re-watched her film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain or simply Amélie. I've fallen in love with the movie as well as the movie soundtrack again. It's currently playing on repeat as we speak :D. Tomorrow I shall watch Coco Avant Chanel which she stars in and also A Very Long Engagement which she also starts in.
I have a thing for French/ French-based movies, there's something about those movies that I like. The other day. I watched Julie&Julia and I was almost inspired to go and cook something special, but I went to sleep instead and had a dream that I was cooking something special(laziness).
I got my room and roommate assignment. At first I was a little uneasy but after I got a reply e-mail from my roommate, I felt excited and I can't wait til the end of the month. I want to move in now. My roommate seems pretty chill, It's surprising how much we have in common when the only thing that Rutgers asked us on the roommate preference sheet was about smoking, sleeping hours, and the amount of mess we make.
When it comes time to go to RU, I feel pretty certain that I won't be hanging out with a lot of McNerds. Through the orientation program, I've met so many people that I really get along with. Well only time will official tell (eww what a cheesy phrase). I hope I meet a lot of good people.
That reminds me, I just had a visit and a nice chat from a very special childhood friend. We were neighbors before I moved and we played every day outside together. We used to be really good friends. We're still friends, but not as close, but close enough. Her sister is currently traveling over seas all over Europe and she went to McNair too. That's really uplifting, she gives me hope for the future- that things are possible, if you really try or are willing to accept the things that comes with those opportunities. Well my childhood friend and I just spent about an hour and a half catching up on each others lives and we were talking about the future. It was really refreshing talking to her.
I like meeting new people, even the ones I just meet for an instant or for a day and then I never see them again. It's sad that I will never see their faces, but the encounter will always be memorable, unless I forget then it won't be so memorable.
