((Future Dated)) Nightmare Time
Something wasn't right...
She could tell the instant she opened her eyes and didn't see her Teddy bear...Not to mention not seeing her room-mate...or even seeing any sign that she even had one...
The room was childish..Only one bed..No computer...Something about it just seemed off but she couldn't put her finger on it...
The door opened and in stepped someone she had not seen sense the day they died.
“Ashley! Up from your nap already?” Sayoko spoke as she knelt down to her.
“Mommy!”
Mommy....? She hadn't said that sense she was....
Ashley looked at herself and felt dread flood through her mind.....She was three again.
~Oh god no......Please....Don't make me go through that again!~ She screamed in her mind as the scene flashed before her eyes...Much to her dismay, the table was set....A cake with 3 candles sat on the table and a teddy bear sat next to it.
A heavy knock rattled the door...Ashley took off like a shot to the closet...~Why is this happening again?....I don't understand....I know what happens next...~
A loud shot rang through the air and then silence fell over the room.....Ashley knew this part well and followed it reluctantly. As she peeked out, a face filled her vision, “Time to die.....”
-FLASH-
“What the....” Ashley sat up straight and glanced around the white room, spotting the large device in the middle. ~I'm back on the island....What is going on...?~
“RICHARD! Meet me in the caves...”
~Okay...this shouldn't be so bad...I know what to do....~
“Ashley....are you okay?” A small ghost asked her as he watched the device closely, “You passed out after using the Protocol.”
Ashley stared at the ghost for a moment and spoke, “Yeah...I'm fine...D...Did we do it?”
“Ashley...Let's go....We need to go see Bill...” Her father spoke, climbing out of the device.
As they marched down, she heard the voices of her friends and teachers, calling her names...teasing....
Ashley froze as they made it to the bridge...and saw Bill lining up a shot, “It's over Richard....”
“NOOO!”
-BANG-
Her father fell to the ground, a hole in his chest, “DAD!” Ashley screamed, trying to catch him. She desperately tried to stop the bleeding as Bill slunk away.
“He's gone Ashley...”
“NO! He can't be...This didn't happen!”
“Ashley....”
“NO!”
D watched as she cried for a moment...and then spoke words she had never heard from the ghosts mouth before, “Utterly useless...You let him die....”
She looked to D in shock, “What...? D....You don't mean that....”
D shook his head and disappeared slowly as he spoke, “You failed to save your Mother...Failed to save your father...And you failed to save your friends....”
Ashley froze, hearing the voices again...She could almost pick out each one...Her Mother.....Her Father..Paula...Midna....Pit...Tails...Goose...Mr. Falcon.....
“No....What....Why...” She looked around, backing up towards the chasm without thinking.
In an instant, Bill and D both appeared in front of her she shoved her over the edge, “You are useless and now...You will suffer!”
As she fell, she let out a scream.
