Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz...
Sophie, the best and most awesome chica on the planet, got me a job at the Denver Civic Theatre as props girl and running crew for the play Cookin' at the Cookery. I make more in one week at this place than I do in two weeks at Starbucks, and I adore this job. I'm still working at Starbucks, but only as an assurance - the theatre job is temporary, so I don't want to be left out in the cold when the show is over. I might be asked to help out with future shows, but I don't want to bank on that.
So, in a nutshell, things just keep getting better and better. What did I say about 2004, eh? ;)
There's more, of course (there's always friggin' more), but I have stolen my new friend, Ben's, brand spanking new laptop to post this and should probably give it back soon. Ben is another person that works at the Theatre, BTW. (Yeah for, meeting new people.)
