I only just found this on Fanfic.net (cause i've been avoiding chapter fics like the plague as i don't have the time to read them, but i went out on a limb tonight) and i was enjoying reading it so much that i got to the end of chapter 10 and i'm itching (literally) for more. And to my great surprise i update my friends page and chapter 12 is sitting on the top of list. I'm so excited.

*Grins* There's a discrepancy between the numbering on ff.net and LJ, simply because after I wrote the first tow chapters and it was apparent this was going to be LONG, I decided to smoosh them together. So what's two chapters on LJ is only one on ff.net. But they have exactly the same content.
And I'm glad you found me over here :) I post stuff up here that doesn't always make its way over there.
I'm always so happy to see a bit more of this story. It's one of my favorites. Any udea how many there might be? I've got a couple of friends interested, but they don't like WiPs!!
Approximately nineteen, but that's already grown by one since I first plotted. The next chapter being the unexpected addition. If your friends are afraid of WIPs that are left to languish, you can tell them my husband's away for a month as of next week and I'll have nothing to do but write. I'm hoping to get it done and dusted while he's away.
And I'm glad you like WIPs, because I have plans for another chaptered fic when this one's finished. Possibly a sequel, but quite a bit further in the future.
The last thing I did last night was read 9-11 again, and then 12 was up this morning. Seriously. You are my new favorite author. I'm going to friend you, if that's ok, and be your fangirl.
Of course you can friend me -- it's so sweet/odd that people keep asking for permission first! I guess there are a lot of freaky, "Why are you here? What are you doing on my Flist" kind of people in fandom. Nutters.
Wow, you re-read chapters? LOL, I'm astounded they stand up to close inspection!
It's cos my husband keeps complaining if I use the word 'tongue', and it's difficulty to describe a heated kiss from either Spock's or Uhura's perspective without use of that word. Mothers tend to use words like 'perfunctory', which is much less harmful to my poor husband's delicate sensibilities.
