Updating from bed (Cos am lazies!)
Ahhhhh, the joy of laptops!
Having a lovely weekend, despite hideous cold that bastards at work have given me. Bastards. Have not yet managed to pass to Dave, who is half-snoozling next to me, and keeps looking up as I go through CV reviews saying things like, "That person doesn't know how to spell 'more'" / "Sweetie, it's on purpose." Fandom virgin. He has so much to learn!
Also having a good time with my Mum. Made her Indulged her overwhelming desire to watch Star Trek yesterday. I'd got her watching So NoTORIous first and, half-way through an ep said, "Oh, you know the gay guy? Yeah, he's totally Spock" / " ... ". I think she enjoyed. Dave and I giggled through it, bouncing up and down whispering, "You're out of your Vulcan mind!!" And we went walking in extreme wind, which made me feel sick :( And came back and watched some TV show DVD she's got with Robson Green in it. I like him better when he's being bizarre and sexy. But he does wear braces in this show, which is kinda cool.
Today ... I don't know what's planned for today. I seem to have some edits in my inbox, so I guess I'll play with those. And with any luck nursedarry's going to give me back C12 on Conversational Vulcan today *hopeful looks* so I can get that sorted before I'm back to work. Reaction to latest chapter has been amazing, so many thanks to all the lovely people leaving feedback!
Must go. David is looking neglected. I gave him a tour of my icons, and he is very pleased I still use the ones he made for me.
