(no subject)
Dear God, I'm in love with my new icons. This is the first time I've reached my limit and had to delete some -- oh noes! And still haven't found a Gabriel/Elle icon I like. Actually considering a paid account -- dadadadum!
Finished chapter 11 of CV last night, and sent on to the betas. Clocked in at just under 5,000 words(!), roughly twice the length of the other chapters. Pity my beta readers! Finished it at 11 last night, which is apparently not my happy time for writing, because re-read snippets this morning and OMG THE TYPOS! I usually catch most of them as I go along, but last night I think I sucked beyond the telling. The writing's fine -- or it should be, the dialogue was whizzing round in my head for long enough during the day -- just the little bits. So think I will re-edit and re-send before the girlies get a chance to look at it (et_tu_lj, you have been warned, I am spamming your inbox like wild fury).
Am slightly worried I've done the Russell T Davies thing of getting myself into an awesome cliff hanger that, when resolved, will feel like a huge disappointment. But that's a whole chapter away, so carefully not thinking about it too hard just yet.
