Sorry! Had to make the most of hubbie's absence to get some Serious Work Done (meaning writing fanfic, but of course)

Darry (beta) finished this by writing "OK THEY HAVE TO HAVE SEX SOON, PLEASE!" Am playing 'how long can Vicky stretch the sexual tension?'

No problem. If you have a chance to glance at it, I'd still be interested to know your reaction before tackling another chapter. I have a feeling that my version of a beta might be more in depth than what you're looking for. :/

Oh, now, Spock and McCoy is just wrong. Uhura and McCoy had a kiss at one point in the previous chapter, but Dave said that would never ever happen and it was much funnier to have him twig.

Oh god, I read the most beautiful McCoy/Kirk the other day involving a pool table. It was a thing of wonder!

Dave was right; it worked better with him twigging that she's already in lurrrrve.

And of course I would never insist you sully this story with anything but canon relationships. (Which is something I would never say about another fandom:)

oh this was lovely. i could see her with McCoy or Spock. but it'd be a beautiful friendship with McCoy if Spock were to win her heart.

At the risk of being bombarded by people who can not handle extended foreplay. That was just sweet. Slowly building with the caring factor rising also. I love it. Keep the pace.

Oh, I am in no rush to get these two into the bedroom. There are bigger fish to fry -- no insult intended to Mr Spock! Besides which, some people might not be happy once we do get there. Hehe.
