yesterday was a whirlwind of activity. i did the blue lake bridal fair in the afternoon. i had to go get copies and extra large photo paper, easels and printer ink beforehand. the bridal fair went smoothly, but there were a lot fewer brides there this year, and 6 photographers. i didn't get any bookings. but i did think to get people's address info for a newsletter, so at least i can market to them that way.
the MC, edward, was dressed in a cowboy tux. he is quite a character. i used blue balloons on my display and i liked how it turned out. as usual, people really liked my work. it's a nice ego boost to hear a bunch of people tell you how beautiful your pictures are.
then i had to rush home and prepare for our little Shortbus party with the imp society folks. it was fantastic. what a great group of people. there was much enjoyment had by most of us.
