The OffWorld lock-in last night was a blast.

I entered myself & Stefen in a Halo 2 tourney last night despite the fact it's the game I'm the worst at. Surprisingly, it turned out really fun, the first round ended with a nice rampage in the end on my part, and we were evenly matched the second time around with Stefen actually gaining more of the kills that time.

The rest of the night consisted of several failed attempts at regaining my old DDR skills, Street Fighter III, Naruto, and Counter-Strike. So long as I had a game in front of me, I had absolutely no intention of sleeping.

Today's been pretty relaxed for the most part: I ate customary Easter Brunch with my family in the house, slept, got some progress on my Senior Exhibition as far as sprite movement and rendering go, and closed it with a bit of CS lust as I did in the wee hours of the morning before. I'm satisfied.

I watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington not so long ago. The movie makes me feel all warm inside and believe that there's still hope for humanity yet. Capra movies are something else, they're about as mushy and romantic as they come, but lack the lingering aftertaste of excessive saccharine. I think the movie is worthy of its classical status.

I hope everyone else has had a good zombie jesus day themselves.
