Went to see Les Miserables last night with the roommate. Amazing. It was a great show, and it definitely didn't hurt that we got free tickets so we just had to pay for parking. And by free tickets, I mean we were sitting in the exact center about 15 rows from the stage. Great seats. Amazing show.
Got to sleep in this morning since I don't have to be at work until 3:00 this afternoon. I've been trying to figure out this whole title/registration thing for my car. My car is currently in my parents' names and we're transferring it over to me. This would be fairly simple if I still lived in Kentucky. However, since I do live out of state, I'm trying to figure out paperwork and if I actually need to be there for them to put the car in my name or if they can just do it and mail me the paperwork here, since I don't really want to pay for the gas to drive to Louisville just for that. I'm going to call the DMV later today and hopefully they'll be able to help me out.
Other than that, nothing too exciting going on here. No job yet, but I have an interview next week, and I know the job I really want they're not doing anything with until August. Oh, the joys of being a first year teacher looking for a job. I just want to know what grade I'm going to be teaching, and where, so I can start getting stuff together. It would also be nice to know I'm going to be able to pay the rent come September, when I no longer have my summer job.
I have a cat now. Her name is Sadie and I'm loving having a pet here!
Spending lots of time with friends, relaxing, reading, watching movies. Enjoying having pretty much nothing to do except work.
