(no subject)
Just got back to Schwitzer after working on stuff at my new townhouse. We now officially have a shower curtain, bathroom rug, soap dispenser, and toothbrush holder. We got the liner cut for all the drawers and most of the cabinets. About half the dishes have been washed (hooray for having a dishwasher!) and put away. My parents are coming tomorrow with all the furniture. Maybe once we have furniture it'll seem a little bit more real. Right now it still kinda feels like we're playing house. But I love it! And with all the new stuff they put in between the last tenants moving out and us moving in, it almost feels like we're in a brand new place (new carpet throughout, new tile flooring in the kitchen and entryway, new refrigerator, new stove, new toilet downstairs, new cabinets in the downstairs bathroom, new railing on the stairs, new lining in the bathtub). It's pretty awesome!
I would love to know why we had some gorgeous weather last week, and now it's rainy and cold. This is not okay for several reasons. Moving furniture in the rain and the cold is not fun. Wearing a dress in the rain and cold is not comfortable. Walking places in the rain and cold is also not comfortable. And graduating when it's raining and cold is not okay. Where the heck am I supposed to take pictures if it's raining?!?!? And where am I supposed to meet my family if it's raining? Hopefully the weathermen are wrong, the storms will pass over Indy sometime tonight or tomorrow, and at least by Saturday we'd be good to go. Probably not gonna happen, but here's hoping. The chance for rain on Saturday went down between early this afternoon and now, so there's hope...
Now I need to head to bed and get some sleep before the fam comes with the uhaul full of furniture tomorrow...
