Today was the day...

I had a great 22nd birthday! Thanks to all those who sent me happy birthday emails, wall posts on facebook, or who called me. It was, overall, a good day. I went out tonight and had a good time, though I'm back earlier than expected. It's okay, though, since I have to be at my dad's tomorrow morning to celebrate with him and his wife. I don't feel much older, but 22 sounds a lot older than 21. I think it's because I know I'll be a college graduate when I'm 22 (less than 6 months!). And I've officially joined the ranks of "old people in Schwitzer," up there with Maren and Alyssa ;)

Thanksgiving break has been great. It's so nice to have a whole week off for Thanksgiving. I had a fantastic time visiting Christina up in Michigan for the first half of break, and being home for the last half has been nice. Thanksgiving food was very yummy, and it was good seeing family that I don't get to see often. I don't want to drive back up to school tomorrow, and I don't want to go back to school on Monday morning. Oh well, only 2 days next week, and then it's off to Miami for three days, courtesy of the College of Education. Dr. L., Jen, and I are presenting on Wednesday afternoon at the National Reading Conference. I'm kinda nervous, especially since it's pretty uncommon for an undergrad to be presenting at something like NRC, but I'm pretty excited, too. And then only two more weeks until the end of the semester. Thank goodness. This semester needs to be over soon.

That's about all for now. I'm tired and need to head to bed. Lots to do tomorrow.

Thanks again, everyone, for making today great =)
