My grandpa died this morning.
I have no grandparents left.
Three weeks ago, I had three.
I've already changed my Texas plans so I can be here for Grandma Janet's funeral and wake on Tuesday and Wednesday. Grandpa's wake is on Thursday and the funeral is on Friday.
I may not be in Texas until Friday evening.
So much for a vacation.
Rest in peace, grandparents. I'm glad that you're all together now. I know that you love us still, that you'll be watching. I just preferred you watching from less of a distance.
