the woe of computers
So, I have a new gmail account. Which I'd been wanting for a while. When I go to sign up for it, it says my browser isn't supported, but I can sign up anyway, it's just a few things may not work. So I sign up. And then, as it turns out, one of the things that doesn't work is the email account itself. On any internet browser thing I have on my computer. Or my dad's high-tech computer. So, I have this gmail account, all nice and signed up for, but I can't get into it. UGH! And I checked, I can't get the more recent browser things, cause my computer operating system won't support those. Crap. Anyone know how to get around these stupid things? Or, possibly I can get it to work on Internet Explorer, if I can figure out how to turn on ActiveX. I don't know what that is - or how to turn it on. I have a Mac, and as much as I like my computer, it gets annoying sometimes when I can't figure out how to make things work.
