ah, another wonderful family dinner with the larrowe-robins-sorkin whatever you want to call it family.
zelda thankfully made no comments about the way i looked (which was good, as i had just come from 2 hours with 5-7 year olds). she is still zelda, though, and could not resist a few comments. on college: "oh, nyu? everybody wants to go to nyu, everybody applies to nyu. if you want to, you might as well apply there, there's a small chance you might get in." why, thank you. i express an interest in college in new york, and possibly nyu, and this is what i get. oh, then there was the boy conversation. someone in my family made the mistake of mentioning dan carlyon. and then my father could not resist pointing out the sleepovers. and then zelda decided that i must be in love with this dan, and from what my father says he sounds like a good catch, and from the way i talked i was obviously in love, and that he sounds like he could be that one. and when i denied it, she told me not to worry, there are other fish in the sea. oh, zelda.
