I come online  for the first time since Saturday and what do I see first?

This. The True Blood trailer for the rest of season four at Comic-Con. (I don't feel like trying to embed the thing so just click on it.)

You guys. Naomi dies, doesn't she? This has made me super depressed, and like I've been droning on to several people, I CAN'T EVEN WATCH ( Read more... )

I tried to post this message last night, but lj was messing up.
I hadn't seen the trailer yet so thanks for posting a link. It does look like Naomi dies, which totally sucks. I am guessing that the death of Naomi is what gets Tara to join the coven.

You need to see a clip from last night's episode because Jason has a crazy sex dream that involves Jessica and Hoyt. He is with Jessica and then Hoyt is standing beside the bed talking about how Jason is his friend and Jessica is his gf and then Jessica turns into Hoyt. The scene ends with Jason waking up and saying "oh my gravy." It was weird and kind of funny.

I actually thought that Lafayette was the one that made the dead bird fly because it didn't come back to life until he joined his hands with the rest of the coven. I guess I forgot to mention that in our True Blood PM. Marnie contacted Sookie's Gran last night and that witch from the Spanish Inquisition keeps possessing her and has shown her the past a couple of times as well. Right now, it feels like Marnie is just being controlled by this witch spirit from the SI, but I think that she will want to destroy the vampires as well. I would love if Lafayette ends up working against her to help the vampires.

I would be pissed if Jessica dies. Speaking of dying characters, Sam's brother killed his parents last night and it made me so happy that they are gone. They threw their bodies in a swamp and then Sam threw marshmallows on the body bags because gators like marshmallows apparently. I thought you would enjoy that the parents are died.

Two Tara things: 1) Tara told Sookie about Naomi last night. 2) Someone asked Alan Ball at Comic Con about putting Tara/Pam together and he said that he hadn't thought about it before, but he would think about it.

Jesus/Lafayette went to Mexico last night to talk to Jesus' grandfather the brujo.

Last week episode sounds like it was a good one. I actually saw the Sam/little brother/alligator thing and I laughed my butt off. I love when TB gives moments like that.

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS THINK ABOUT IT FOR A WHILE ALAN BALL AND GIVE US OUR TARA/PAM IF YOU HAVE TO KILL OF NOAMI. THANKS MUCH.

I knew it would be a good episode since it began with Tommy killing his parents. Question: do you think gators actually like marshmallows? I was sitting there and wondering if that was true for a few minutes after the scene ended. Like you, I love when TB has funny moments at the wrong time (i.e. the dialogue when Eric killed Sookie's fairy godmother).

I wonder what would have to happen to get Tara to be okay with vampires again for Tara/Pam to happen, but I think I would kind of love Tara/Pam. Please really consider it Alan Ball.

I have no idea about the gators liking marshmallows either. I was wondering that too. I can see that being true but also being false and satisfying TB's need for storyline. And I wonder if AB listened to fans from last season when everyone was saying they hated Sam and Tommy's parents. To kill them off I mean?

I can totally see Pam finding out about Tara and Noami and then glamoring Tara first for a ONS or for just sex or something. It would take A LOT but I can see it. I mean, until Franklin turned psycho (and I realize he wasn't psycho for only like two episodes but go with me here) she was digging him. Yes, It was after beating up racist assholes, but still digging. I wonder if TB's writing staff can make it believable....

If the marshmallow thing is true, I just want to know how someone discovered that gators like marshmallows. I could see it being false though and being used for humor. Maybe AB actually listened to fans about hating Sam and Tommy's parents. He listened or just realized on his own that those characters weren't very entertaining.

I can see Pam being interested if/when she finds out about Tara/Naomi. I would like it if they were together and it wasn't because of glamoring though. The combination of Franklin and Bill nearing drinking Sookie to death is what caused Tara to hate vampires so much, but maybe something will happen that will make her okay with them again. I don't know what that something would be (it would have to be something major), but it could happen, I think.

Spoilers for tonight's episode roganrules August 1 2011, 07:45:45 UTC
Just thought you should know that there were some Tara/Naomi scenes in tonight's episode. The episode ends with Pam coming at them, and the promo showed Tara talking to the coven so I am guessing that Pam will kill Naomi. :(
I don't know how Pam/Tara could ever happen if she kills Naomi.

Also, it was the full moon, and Jason and Jessica end up hanging out because he is scared about changing into a werepanther, and they seemed to be having feelings for each other. Alcide tells Sookie that "weres" have to be born that way and that you can't become a "were" through a bite so Jason might actually not turn into a werepanther on the show. I am okay with that change in story.

Because he killed his parent, Tommy can now shift into people and he turns himself into Sam and ends up sleeping with Sam's new gf.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Dude. You've totally just bummed me out. :(

Jason/Jessica. I'm digging it more and more.

Dammit Tommy. Just when you think that maybe, just maybe, you can warm up to him he does some stupid shit like this and you hate him all back again. And does this mean that Sam can turn into other people too since they were his parents too, or just Tommy since he actually killed them?

At least there were some cute Tara/Naomi moments before the end of tonight's episode. It is totally bumming me out too. :( I am hoping that isn't what happens, but it certainly looks like it will.

I love Jessica/Hoyt, but I am starting to dig Jessica/Jason. I also have a soft spot in my heart for Jason because I just love Ryan K.

In all fairness, Tommy tried to stop Sam's gf, but then she showed him her boobs and he was a goner. Tommy didn't change into Sam on purpose and didn't seem to know how to change back. Right after Sam's gf left, he started looking sick, changed back, puked, and passed out. Sam found him that way and that is how his story for the night ended.
Since Sam didn't actually kill his parents, he won't be able to shift into people. Sam's gf killed her mom during childbirth so she can shift into people as well. (She is the one that explained that power couple of weeks ago).

I forgot to mention that Lafayette was possessed by a spirit of some guy for a few minutes and saved Jesus from a rattlesnake bite (Jesus' grandfather had the snake bite Jesus in order to show that Lafayette had this ability).
