Because I Haven't Posted A Damn Thing In A Long Time

1. Did I ever say I was going back to school? I think I've said it in comments, but I don't know if I've said it in this journal. Well, I am. Just a small community college. And it's kicking my ass. Because I can't schedule my time for shit and I'm always behind. One of these days I'm not going to procrastinate as badly as I am now.

2. I've started ( Read more... )

So once again, whee! Thanks for adding! :)

I'm kind of... both I guess? I'm in a program where you're supposed to go from zero to Master's (without getting a B.A. first) in 5 years, but it's already been more than that. Whoops. ;) Hopefully I'll be done soon, but there's just so many exams to take on top of writing a thesis that it's kind of overwhelming.
Do you already have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree? And what are you gonna major in now? (And stupid school for frying our brains.)

I actually don't have a favorite tennis player anymore, but I do enjoy watching it just for the game and I like playing it too. I used to be a fan of Tim Henman's (you will soon notice that I generally like to root for underdogs), and I guess I'm leaning more on the Federer side when it comes to Rafa/Roger, but that's more because of a friend of mine who adores Roger.
Do you play too? And who do you like (besides Petra ;))?

Hmm, I definitely root for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga and I guess I sort of like Man United internationally? Other than that, I like England (motherland of football and all that) and I'm just starting to like my own national team (Germany). I'm a little spoiled because we had the Men's World Cup here in 2006 and just now the Women's too. It's definitely more fun that way. ;)

HIMYM: Barney Stinson - that guy's awesome! But Robin's pretty amazing too and I'm definitely a BroTP shipper. Community: I can't make up my mind, but I'm pretty sure I like Jeff more than most other fans. But Shirley's always a hoot, and Troy and Abed of course and... Well, I guess I wouldn't be able to make up my mind on the ships either, but I've pretty much liked everything they've thrown at us so far.
How about you, any preferences on the shows?

Well to sum up my college experience-went for a few years, couldn't go back due to financial issues, so I decided to finish out my associates at a community college and then go to a four year. Only thing I can really do right now. *shrugs* I've heard about those programs, 5 years and you get your master's. Seems like a smart way to save money in the long run. What are you getting a degree in? For me it's English. Nothing else interest me that much.

I could go on and on about tennis. I used to love Tim Henmen too. I always wanted him to win Wimbledon. Always broke my heart when he didn't. I'm much more of a WTA fan even if I love the ATP. There's a tournament for the WTA that comes through my neck of the woods and that's a big reason why I like the ladies more. Fave players...on the ATP side my absolute faves are Rafa, Nole, Juan Martin, Jo-Wilfried, and I like a bunch of other players (like Murray, Monfils, Simon, Ferrer, Isner, Roddick, etc.) For the WTA my faves are Serena, Vika Azarenka, Li Na, Sabine, Dinara, Petra, Sveta, and a group of young-in just getting started-Sloane Stephens, Heather Watson, and Laura Robson. And I like a slew of others as well.

I root mostly for national teams, but if I had to pick a club it'd be Barcelona. I just enjoy the way they play. I need to pick an EPL team cause they're the league I could probably follow the easiest since 1. i hate streams online and 2. their games are on in the US. I hope you went to some of the World Cup games. Please tell me you did.

For HIMYM I really do like them all, even if Barney is my fave too. On Community it's Shirley and Abed, but they never give Shirley enough to do. I actually kinda hate the ships on Community. I like it best when they are just friends. I hate it when it's all Jeff/Britta and Jeff/Annie. But I'm sure I'm in the minority there. :)

Henman. One of these days I'll proofread my comments. One of these days.
