Whaaaaa?
Something rather stupid was said to me today…and yet realizing how dumb it is, I let it get to me…somewhat.
An acquaintance (not friend, mind you …well, they are more like a complete stranger to me…I used to work with him) greeted me today, with “oh your hair is short….looking more like a boy everyday”.
What …the …hell?
What * sputter* umm whaaaaaaa? Who says that? And WHY?
It is like saying “oh new jeans? They make your ass look fat.” “nice dress. But it makes you look hideous”
Stupid really, and yet…. It bothers me.
I think what’s really bothers me is that there are people who can be blunt to such an extent. With a friend you can forgive or joke about it yet this…..just makes you speechless and lift your brows.
