Yes, yes I have not posted in a while, my apologies if I made anyone worry or anything.
Life is going ok I suppose, nothing to be exited over and yet on the other hand, nothing to be angry about.
The temporary work that I had is coming up to the end. So I will be searching for something else. Will get the money and then tighten my purse strings.
This morning I spent in the waiting room at the clinic. I did something to my left elbow that caused it to swell up twice its size. Hurts too, inside and even the skin. The night was the worst, I had no where to put that arm. (Apparently I was moaning too, as I was told later).
In either case, it is nothing serous, my arm is not going to get cut off, and my right arm became stronger (as it had to work twice as hard).
Hmmm, what else is new…..Reading the “Adolf” manga series by Osamu Tezuka. Really good. Love how he shows the same time period from the different views/ perspectives. There does not really seem to be bad nor good guys but everyone is just caught in the whirlwind of the WWII.
At the same time I’m reading Alice in Wonderland. Yes I am ashamed to admit it I have never read the book as a child. I simply thought it was too silly. Maybe is it too bad, for reading it as an adult you see it differently. I talked with someone that read it as a child and then again as an adult, she said that many things made sense and she saw them in a different light, after reading the second time.
It is written in the preference of the book, that the story was meant for the children. But I am surprised how “adult” it can be. (But then, it was written by a mathematician.)
In many cases it seems to have a philosophical “under texts”: questioning your own existence and personal identity, logic (or the idea of it) pops up constantly. And the whole deal with the caucus race (in chapter 3) Run which ever you want, and start when ever you want, and yet everyone wins in the end; is he making fun of politics, simply saying how messy it all is?
But maybe it is just me, and the story really is just one silly and messy adventure in the imaginary world somewhere underground.
And last but not least, the weather. It is finally cold. And rainy, (sometimes it is just a drizzle). It is getting darker in the evenings. Add it all together and you basically got the kind or weather that makes you want to go to a warm coffee place/lounge or a pub.
The displays downtown are filling with the winter fashions. That is one sign that winter is coming.
