where I've been
Hello everybody!
I've been gone for a while. But now I'm back. I moved into a new apartment - much further out then I woulda liked, but it's cheap, comes with furniture, and is pretty easy to get to work from. There's also a plethora of grocery stores in my area - something my last apartment didnt have. The one store we did have burned down one day. Anyway, the area's quite and safe. I sorta got annoyed with the random drunks walking down the street screaming at 3am, the cockroaches/rats, and occational gun shots in Lakeview/Lincolnpark. I miss Johnny Sproket and the 151 all night bus. That was useful for transport since I tend to come home late some nights. I don't have that luxury now. The last bus that runs west on my street is just after midnight. Makes me have to miss out on some things as I don't have the cash to take a taxi usually. Not that I like staying out that late all the time, but sometimes it's nice to meet up with friends and not have to worry about when I have to leave.
Incase I haven't mentioned it, I work for a company called passyourbar.com doing illustrations/design/ and working out any creative things they need. This usually included ads that the boss wants. The short of it: I draw what they want me to draw. I also redesigned their website-I didn't do any of the html, the webmaster did that, I just created the layout and design. I had to work with what was already there. It was in really sad shape originally.
I've also joined a co-ed softball league. That's alot of fun. I'm playing first base.
That's pretty much it- oh and I'm totally excited because Conan O'Briens in town. yea! :)
