Let's charge all buses that go accross the Narrows Bridge a toll now, and then force every bus (as the transit system rotates what buses go where) to have a transponder (at $10.65, on windshields that get replaced often) taking away valuable limited funding for the system itself. Because that makes so much sense!
The total ammount of money that it takes away isn't very much but it sure doesnt encourage future bus growth (more runs over the bridge) as more and more people will start to take the bus to not have to pay the $3 fee.
It's more the basic question of "Why?" Why make such a dumb decision to "punish" the transit system that relieves congestion, when the point of building the bridge in the first place was to relieve said congestion.
