It is lovely to eat tomatoes, because it tastes like they are full of sunlight.
Also, I really dislike doing laundry.
I found a store with a really interesting mix of clothes, from well-faked Calvin Klein t-shirts to super-frayed patchwork embroidered things from Mexico and some of everything in between. The shopkeeper and another lady in the store were trying to convince me to buy a long, grey "peasant" skirt, and I finally gave in and tried it on. I actually rather liked it, but had no idea how I'd be able to use it at the moment so passed it up.
Taken together, I am sure that these points will be used as "evidence" for my underlying "hippie tendencies", to which I don't have much of an answer at the moment, except that the tomatoes were really good.
I stood on a rather crowded bus for two hours this morning to get to the Botanical Gardens, which are only 11 km away as-the-crow-flies.
(Am quite worried about essays for class.)
I am going to the Yangjing Beer factory tomorrow in lieu of class as party of a "language practice" activity. Hopefully this will be interesting, I hear you get to sample some warm beer straight out of the machines.
