It is not surprising to look back at your life and see failures, great moments, & people who were important that are no longer even in your life.
My best friend whom I have had since I was 7 or 8, is someone I have not talked to in months. He is preparing to have a second child.
A friend I have had since 2001, and became a dear friend. He is about to be married & have a kid of his own. Barely talk to him or see him either.
Another friend I made working at McDonald's, whom I did a lot of stuff with. Moved up the road a ways and is preparing to have a kid with, as well. I do not know the last time I spoke to him.
The best female friend I ever had, I have seen one time in six years. We had a falling out before I moved to Cleveland.
I had a friend I made in fourth grade. We did all sorts of stuff that was dumb & fun. Him & I had a major fallout, that can't be repaired.
I miss these people & the stuff we did together. I will share a favorite memory involving these people.
1. Riding home from Kennywood in our underwear, because we were soaked head to toe from riding water rides all day.
2. There is a lot to choose from, but I'll go with being the reason you met your future wife. I had a party, she came, you guys met.
3. Riding home in 2001 from the WWF PPV in Pittsburgh throwing condoms out the back of the car.
4. This person I got two: My last b-day in Toronto, when we went snowman tipping after Eat n Park. And: You calling me in the middle of the night crying, you showed up at my house and said "I didn't know if you were in Cleveland, but if you were I would have came up there." You cried & talked to me until morning.
5. Could be the New River Gorge trip, but got another one in mind. When I helped you move stuff down to New Stanton, PA. We ended up all over Western PA & Eastern OH trying to find somewhere for you to get a Playstation. Ended up finding it at the Circuit City in Boardman.
I really miss having the fun that I had with these people. I am glad, however, that these people all are having good lives.
It is not just these people I miss. I miss Buzz, Meeks-pac, Dale, Pat, Barb, Chelsea & more
