What: Stallion finds someone to run his business
Stallion: *strolling about in the evening, rare for someone used to zipping all over creation*
Rahal: *scrubbing Flail near the fountain, since she likes to sun/relax there when she can go walk with him*
Stallion: Ooooh! What's that? *curious*
Rahal: *blinks at the small little elf* This is Flail, my dragon horse and partner.
Stallion: We don't have those around here. Is it male or female?
Rahal: *chuckles* Flail's a girl. A lovely one at that ~
Flail: *snorts her agreement and moves her tail slightly*
Stallion: Oh well! What a fine lady you are! *laugh* My name's Stallion. I deliver the mail around here, along with various packages and such.
Rahal: *smiles and pauses to bow* A pleasure to meet you, Sir Stallion. I'm Rahal, and, as I said, this is my partner, Flail.
Stallion: So where are you both from?
Rahal: The Queendom of Falena. I'm the Commander of the Dragon Calvary there.
Stallion: Oh, you and a lot of people are from there. And you're a commander of cavalry? I see. So tell me, did you just randomly find yourself here?
Rahal: Actually, yes. Miss Viki sneezed and then, well... *he shrugged. Stallion probably knew the rest*
Stallion: That happens quite a lot here. *nods*
Rahal: *chuckles* So I have been told. Hae you been here long, Sir Stallion?
Stallion: Let's see....oh, actually it's coming up on three years for me. Of course, this -is- my time so it's not so bad.
Rahal: Oh! Well, that is awhile, and yes, I'm sure that makes it easier. *finished scrubbing Flail and pets her, the dragon horse cooing her pleasure*
Stallion: *ears perk at the sound; it's so odd and soothing at the same time*
Rahal: *chuckles and nuzzles her, the dragon horse lifting her head to push ever so gently back and make the noise again*
Stallion: That's so cute! So, Rahal, what do you think of the castle so far?
Rahal: It's cute homely. I am sure I will enjoy my stay, and Flail has made no complaints so far.
Stallion: I like it myself. Does your dragon horse travel on land as well as the water?
Rahal: Oh, yes. Flail loves to swim.
Stallion: Do they need a lot of exercise, I suppose?
Rahal: Well, yes, if Flail wishes to stay sleek. I try and take her for a ride or swim everyday.
Stallion: And I bet that's hard in a place where it's more...idle.
Rahal: *not sure where this is going, but all right* Yes, it sort of is. I can't take her to far, and she's a bit big to move through the forest.
Stallion: *oho, idea!* Well, actually, I might have something that can help you out here, Rahal, that'll help you learn about the countryside and you exercise your friend and that'll help me out in return.
Rahal: *perks up and raises a brow* Oh?
Stallion: Well the truth is, I'm probably going to have to go traveling soon and away from the castle for an extended period of time. I really need someone to take over my deliveries while I'm away.
Rahal: *raises his brow and thinks on that* Well, what sort of delveries do you actually make?
Stallion: Sometimes just messages, but often packages to towns nearby. It's limited to what I can actually carry. I have a rare Godspeed Rune so traveling distances isn't a problem.
Rahal: *thinks and looks down at Flail, stroking her head* It does sound interesting, and would be something to do. I have been a bit bored without any duties.
Stallion: And you'd be making money, since I certainly don't do it for free.
Rahal: *that wasn't even really a concern, but yay?* Well, if you are certain I can handle it and feel comfortable leaving it with me, I can certainly try and do as good a job as you apparently have.
Stallion: *yays!* You might be sharing some duties with a young man named Melville. I'll show you a map of the surrounding area so you have an idea of where you might be going.
Rahal: *smiles* Well, all right then. When would you like me to meet you so you can give me the full details and instructions?
Stallion: Stop by sometime when I'm working on Monday and I'll show you how it all works!
Rahal: Very well, Sir Stallion! It was certainly a pleasure meeting you!
