can you believe we only have a year left of undergrad?? where the hell did the time go? its starting to feel like senior year in high school all over again, except now we're forced to make really important life altering decisions.... we're in our early twenties - are we really supposed to know what we wanna do for the rest of our lives? the only thing i know that i wanna do i stay in college and stay in santa cruz... so i think i'm gonna apply to the PhD program in history at santa cruz... cause that will keep me there the longest, but if i don't get into that - then what? my parents said they'd pay for a fifth year of undergrad, but only if afterwards i went and became a vet. as appealing as living in davis and cutting up pets sounds, i don't think that's the right path for me - i'd much rather cut up humans. think they'd pay for me to become a doctor? and if not, what am i supposed to do with a PhD in history? and why does living in santa cruz have to be so expensive? excuse my random rant inspired by your rant.... i think you should totally take the time off between undergrad and law school. my parents are being dumb, as in, if i take a break - they wont help me pay for school when i return.
