In the whore house
I went to the interview about 4 or 5 hours after I set my alarm.
The woman I said "Any time after 8:30am"
So I set the alarm at 9am.
And left the house at about 2pm.
How organised.
I looked at the map the night before and I had no idea where it was. Then when I got there I saw it was just around the corner from China Town. It still takes about and hour and a half to get there. By car it should be about 40 minutes or less.
From the outside it looked like a regular old house but from the inside... it was a regular old house. They'd converted it into a makeshift home office thing. I was led to the kitchen and to the left where the desk was and the phone where my interview was. It was very straight forward. I pretty much got the job. I'm on training as of Tuesday 9:30am.
I'll be filling night shifts and weekends. Which I think she said is from 9pm - 4am.
I'll get $15 an hour and then after about 3 months (prohibition) and if all works well I'll get $20 an hour.
As you know prostitution is illegal in South Australia so its a little confusing whether or not I'll be held responsible if there is a raid. I checked up on the law and there wasn't anything exactly that I'd be pinned with. It seems that we work through a small loop hole in the law... that hole being labeled 'You cant prove it'.
How I get there is going to be awkward. I can catch the bus or train in but if my shift ends at 4am then I have to wait at 5:30am for the first train which then gets in at 6am.
But yeh, the good thing is I'll be able to start making payments to you.
On the way home (before the gym with Sam) I stopped into a Harvey World Travel and got a estimate.
