It sickens me how we have ceased to look to our elders and ancestors for the answers to our problems. Instead of embracing wisdom and knowledge that age brings, we worship youth and ignorance. Old teachers are jaded; they have no desire to share their wisdom with a youth that lacks discipline. The youth looks to young, inexperienced teachers because rules are less strict and freedom abounds, but knowledge does not. Our politicians are useless; our grandparents are seen as cenile instead of wise. At least these have been my observations. My father is trying to get a job, and the knowledge and experience he would bring to any company that hires him would be far more useful and helpful to their productivity than some stupid, inexperienced, fresh out of college fool. I ramble, but I'm also indifferent at this point. I shall continue. I'm very appreciative of my father. He knows things many do not. And that gives me an advantage over many, I believe. Thank god for fathers.
Also, I have resolved to clean up my act. I cannot live another second in disorganization; the mere thought of it makes me want to leave wherever I am. I have thrown out many things recently because of this. I'm positive I will not regret throwing out such things because they mean nothing to me any more, or failed to mean anything to me in the first place. Thank god for epiphany.
