(no subject)
I just finished my first week on the new job. So far it's been much better than I was anticipating, even though I haven't been able to do any actual work yet. All the people around me are great, which really makes all the difference. I'm sure there's some office politics that I just haven't seen yet, but most people assure me that the environment is unlike what you'd normally expect in a large business environment.
Going back to work after such a long break is kinda difficult. I forgot how little time is left in the day after you subtract work, sleep, and commute. I'm trying to sustain myself sans coffee, but it might be a while before I'm ready to go without a can of soda at lunch time again.
Oh, in case you haven't seen it, watch this. Watch it fast though. As of some time on Sunday they're going to take it down and only have it available (legally) through iTunes.
