So quick life update.
Week before finals, but for me it's sorta like finals week because I have three papers due this week. Finished Tolkien...explored the different types of hero quests in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. About half-way through Literature of Peace...exploring war in The Two Towers. (I'm making it a bit easier on myself by using something fresh in my mind, but it also means I'm a little burnt out on LotR.) And the "paper" for Short Story is really just four short essays (4 paragraphs each.)
So I'm taking a break right now but I'll be finishing Lit of Peace today, probably getting a jump start on Short Story tonight, waking up and doing the rest of short story tomorrow. I will be so effing happy when it's Friday.
Yeah, that's what I didn't mention. Lit of Peace & Short story are both due tomorrow. I procrastinate pretty badly. But I'm not half as worried about these two as I was about the Tolkien, which had to be 8 pages, the Lit of Peace one only has to be 3-5. So even though I work tonight, I'm pretty optimistic. But damn do I plan on sleeping in on Friday. I've been up super early every day this week.
So that's life as of now. As you can see, life equals school. Next week will be good (only one exam, on Friday!) and the week after will be heaven.
So if I'm absent for a while, that's why. Good luck to anyone else finishing the semester. :)
