Just going to post the few bits of jewellery I made over the past month. Not as much as in January- I've not had enough supplies, nor inspiration so I've been using up the stuff I have.
The pendant is one of the stones I got from that awesome shop in Dublin. I ordered a bail for it, which was on back order and when it arrived it turned out that while I would measure the actual fitting, the store measured the entire thing. Needless to say it was ridiculously too small (although not expensive so not a big deal) and instead of trying to find a bail I liked, I made one myself out of some wire. As I was making it my mum kept saying how pretty it was, so I ended up giving it to her. She'll never wear it, but she seems really pleaased with it, which is the important thing!
This bracelet and sort of matching earrings are made of venetian glass beads and some picasso beads which I kind of really love because they're shiny in an interesting way (I think I was a magpie in a past life).
Czech glass beads with some beads I bought a zillion years ago which happened to match.
More czech glass and picasso beads.
I made this one last night and I'm ridiculously fond of it already. I guess I like the colours a lot. These beads were on backorder too and came through the door yesterday so it was fun to finally get to mess around with them.
Stars! This was really just messing around. The stars were stupid expensive since I bought them from Hobbycraft instead of online but it was fun to practice tiny loops.
I need to order some new beads for March since I'm almost completely out of stuff. There's a few focal beads I've seen on Etsy I'm tempted to buy because they're really kinda gorgeous and would make some great necklaces. So I may have to treat myself to them, I think.
