I feel a little... empty, with the knowledge that our Big Gay Space Show on Crack is going to be gone. Not only for the show itself but for the fandom, for the sheer joy we take in loving these characters. How can there be no more Rodney? How is that possible? My mind is reeling.

I think that sounds like an excellent plot for the movie. The unrated DVD can include a deleted scene of what, exactly, went down in the back of that puddlejumper.
