Excitement
Mike got a job! He's going to be working in Frederick county (MD) doing a semester of HS world cultures and government and then a semester of 7th grade honors history (they have block scheduling). They made this weird job for him because they wanted to be able to give him a full time job (the original job was half time). So the irony in all this is that when he got the call I was actually driving down to Harford county to do three interviews for jobs that I now cannot take because they are too far from Frederick. What makes it extra annoying is that the air conditioning in my car was broken so it was a pretty unpleasant trip. Anyway now I have to get serious about bugging the counties around Frederick so that I can also get a job. We're hoping to move out by the end of July so we're looking at places in the area and will probably go down to start checking them out very soon. Hopefully I will be able to join Mike in the ranks of the employed soon!
